In the last six months, Feed.fm has served 425 million songs to the connected devices and fitness apps of 8.7 million unique users.
93% of those exercisers say that music drives their workout and that the right song is proven to help both their mood and performance. Workouts that include music are also as much as 3X longer than those that don’t according to Feed.fm data.,
Olivia Rodrigo’s “good 4 u” and The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber’s “Stay” are big hits but Lil Nas X and Doja Cat are fast risers as are Harry Styles and Halsey.
Here’s what Feed.fm tells the apps that they service about music mix: “75% familiar tracks + 25% up-and-coming songs by favorite and newer artists is an ideal recipe. Too many “music discovery” moments during workouts can cause distraction when users need to stay focused on performance with a background soundtrack they know and love.”
So, the answer is… not really.
