Plaza at Blue Oaks getting new restaurants, wellness businesses – Sacramento Business Journal – The Business Journals

Several new businesses appear to be in the works for west Roseville’s Plaza at Blue Oaks center, leasing materials show.
The approximately 82,000-square-foot center is anchored by Raley’s O-N-E Market and is a new retail development at the northeastern corner of Blue Oaks Boulevard and Fiddyment Road in Roseville, one of the fastest-growing areas in Placer County.
Leasing materials were recently updated for the center that indicate several new businesses have either executed leases or are currently in negotiations.
One incoming tenant is fitness franchise RockBox Fitness, which executed a lease for an approximately 2,500-square-foot space at 1960 Blue Oaks Blvd., Suite 2-A, in Roseville.
Huntersville, North Carolina-based RockBox Fitness was founded in 2017 and has been franchising since 2018. Its fitness studios combine boxing, kickboxing and functional weight training, with workouts that range from group fitness to personal training.
There are currently 39 studios operating across 22 states, with more than 130 additional sites in the works, according to the company’s website. RockBox Fitness operates its sole California location in San Diego.
Representatives of the fitness franchise did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Monday.
Leasing materials also indicate two new restaurants have executed leases, including Oaks Sushi & Bowl, which is expected to occupy a 1,200-square-foot space at the center, along with Sister’s Thai Kitchen, which would occupy a 2,150-square-foot space.
Details about the incoming restaurants were not available. Leasing representatives for the center did not respond to a request for comment on Monday.
Three additional businesses also appear to be in negotiations for spaces, including local chain Pete’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. Materials indicate the restaurant is in negotiations for a 2,500-square-foot space. The restaurant chain did not respond for comment.
Restaurant chain The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is apparently negotiating a lease for an approximately 1,750-square-foot space at the center. The chain currently operates 26 locations across the U.S. Its website lists a Sacramento location on Crocker Drive as “coming soon,” though it does not mention plans for a Roseville site.
Materials also indicate sculpting, weight loss and rejuvenation spa Avanti Body is negotiating a lease for a 1,500-square-foot space at the center. The business currently operates locations in Vacaville and Scottsdale, Arizona, according to its website.
Representatives of The Great Greek and Avanti Body did not respond for comment.
A total of 15 other businesses have already executed leases for spaces at the Plaza at Blue Oaks, as previously reported by the Business Journal, including Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG), Garden of Eat’n, Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade, European Wax Center and AutoZone (NYSE: AZO). Businesses that have been linked with spaces that appear to no longer be pursuing locations at the center include LeanFeast and Mayweather Boxing + Fitness.
Raley’s O-N-E Market opened in the center in June.
