Arsenal handed fitness boost ahead of Nottingham Forest

Premier League giants Arsenal have, on Saturday, been afforded an altogether timely boost on the personnel front.
Mikel Arteta’s troops are of course primed to return to action on Sunday.
In the penultimate fixture of the Premier League weekend, the Gunners will welcome relegation-battling Nottingham Forest to north London, eyeing a return to winning ways.
This comes with Arsenal having followed up a disappointing 1-1 stalemate with Southampton last weekend with a deserved defeat at the hands of Dutch heavyweights PSV Eindhoven on Thursday night.
It always looked likely ✅

Safe to say, then, that Mikel Arteta could do with having as many members of his first-team squad as possible fit and available to contribute, as the capital outfit kick on in their surprise early-season pursuit of the Premier League title over the days and weeks ahead.
And now, as alluded to above, the options at the disposal of Arsenal’s boss look set for an imminent boost.
The player on the verge of a return? Mohamed Elneny.
Midfielder Elneny has not featured in the colours of the Gunners since all the way back in August, when a meeting with Fulham culminated in the 30-year-old being ruled out long-term owing to a hamstring injury.
On Saturday, though, Elneny took to social media, to confirm that he has returned to first-team training at London Colney.
This news will come as a major source of relief for the Arsenal faithful, who had become increasingly bemused by the efforts of alternative midfield option Sambi Lokonga of late.
