LIVING a more active lifestyle is important in increasing one's immunity to certain illnesses. It is imperative to stay healthy as we continue the fight against Covid-19.
This is what SM Supermalls President Steven Tan emphasized during the opening of the newest branch of the UFC Gym at the SM Gamepark in the third level of SM Southmall.
“We are all fighters, and we are all fighting against Covid. And one of the ways to win this fight is to keep yourself healthy. Thank you to the UFC Gym for giving us this platform to work out and live healthier lives,” Tan said.
The gym opening was attended by UFC Gym CEO Adam Sedlack, UFC Gym Master Franchisee Mark Dayrit, UFC GYM Philippines CEO Mylene Mendoza-Dayrit, and Aura International 2021 Faith Garcia. Hosted by Ms. Earth Philippines-Fire 2019 Alexandra Dayrit, the event was filled with action as the demonstration of various UFC Gym classes were held.
Sedlack shared his enthusiasm in working with SM Supermalls and is looking forward to more collaborations that might include a vision of having a studio in every SM mall in the Philippines. Moreso, to drive awareness that getting in shape is of great importance with an MMA spirit.
The UFC Gym is housed in the mall's 2,500 sqm-interactive Game Park. In it, there's also indoor sports and arcade game staples like bowling area, billiards, archery, table tennis and more.
After working out at the gym, relive the good ol' days of fun games and retro activities at SM Southmall's #SouthTopia from now until July 10: There's The King's Claw crane game and the visit for the weekend of Buzz Lightyear, the Minions and Thor. To meet them, present either a receipt of P500 and up from any SM Southmall store or SM Malls Online; a cinema ticket; or an Outdoor Overdrive ticket, all purchased from June 1 to July 9.
The mall implements #SafeMalling protocols for the safety of all shoppers.
